Notes on Two-factor Authentication
- Two-factor authentication is required to use Sprintax Calculus's E-Sign function.
- Once you enable two-factor authentication, the same method will also be required to log in to Sprintax Calculus during future logins.
- If you enabled two-factor authentication, please keep the Authenticator App on your device. You will need it for all future logins.
What is Sprintax Calculus?
Sprintax Calculus is an online tax determination software for international payees of Harvard. It is a secure, web-based system that will classify international individuals and entities for U.S. tax purposes and determine appropriate tax withholding and tax treaty eligibility (if applicable).
Is Sprintax Calculus the same as Sprintax Returns?
No. Sprintax Calculus is separate from Sprintax Returns (Tax Preparation), which assists with annual income tax preparation and your tax filing
How can I get support with Sprintax Calculus?

How do I know the Sprintax Calculus invitation email is legitimate?
The invitation emails will come from hutax@sprintax.com, and the activation link in the emails will be active for 24 hours.
Can I register with Sprintax Calculus without an invite from Harvard?
International payees should register via the link emailed to them from Harvard (the email will be sent from HUtax@sprintax.com) in order to correctly assign their account with Harvard. Users who already have a Sprintax Calculus account should still use the Harvard activation link to add Harvard to their account.

Are there any changes to the No Entry, BER, and ADVTR processes?
Current No Entry, BER, and ADVTR processes are not affected at this time.
